Poem: You

Poem: YOU

Authored by Rajat Dixit

You made me go in trance state,
Not like those which trance songs make.
I feel helpless for the things I do now,
But you don't perceive them as true.

If they weren't to be true for you,
I didn't had to write these pieces of blues.
I have come long way through,
Scores aren't settled even now too.
I have forgotten things of past with you,
Have the same sine waves, like brand new.

Now, it's like a dormant volcano,
Which once ragged like a tornado.
I don't know if it's ever going to stop,
I want you, to be you lest 'nothing nope'.

Hey! Dad.

Hey! Dad. It's your day;
I'll make sure, you feel happy & gay.

I remember those days,
You brought me what I liked & gazed.

You've been always my supporter,
For my problems, the best decoder.

I have many names for you,
My life's aim is associated with you.

Whatever you've, you're & you'll do for me,
I can never pay that debt back.

Hey! Dad. It's your day;
This is a small token of love for you, I say.
